SUMMARY:Summer Camp at Candy Castle
DESCRIPTION:Aira – Children’s Nature Retreat \n \n \n \n \n\n	\n	\n \n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n ABOUT THE RETREATA retreat rooted in ancient wisdom\, designed for the modern child.\n\nIn a world of screens\, schedules\, and stress\, children are growing up disconnected - from nature\, from their bodies\, and from the ancient wisdom that has nurtured human wellbeing for millennia.\n\nPrakriti - is a thoughtfully curated immersive retreat for children between the ages of 8 and 13. Drawing from the timeless traditions of classical Hatha Yoga and the ancient Indian martial art of Kalaripayattu\, combined with earth-centred activities\, conscious eating practices\, creative art\, and joyful play\, Prakriti offers children a transformative space to slow down\, look up\, and feel alive.\n\nEvery element of this retreat is designed with intention - to awaken gratitude for the natural world\, to build physical strength and mental stillness\, to nurture friendships\, and to plant seeds of awareness that children will carry with them for the rest of their lives.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n WHY PRAKRITI?Children are not growing up - they are growing away.\n\nAway from nature. Away from their bodies. Away from real human connection. The result is a generation that is digitally fluent but emotionally fragile\, physically inactive\, and increasingly anxious.\n\nThe numbers that moved us to create this retreat\n\nPrakriti is our response. Every element of this retreat is grounded in research\, tradition\, and genuine care for the child\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTSWhat children will experience\n\nClassical Hatha Yoga\nRooted in timeless yogic wisdom\, children will learn simple yet powerful yogic practices and meditation practices designed to build body awareness\, flexibility\, focus\, and emotional stability. All the practices are offered by certified classical Hatha Yoga Instructors trained under Sadhguru Gurukulam.\n\nKalaripayattu\nOne of the world's oldest martial art forms\, Kalaripayattu from Kerala is a living tradition that trains children in coordination\, discipline\, and grace. Through dynamic movements and postures\, children build strength\, agility\, and an embodied sense of confidence.\n\nConnection with the Earth\nChildren get their hands into the earth - planting\, touching the soil\, and learning how living soil sustains all life. Through grounding practices\, soil education\, and hands-on nature activities\, they learn why healthy soil is the foundation of all life. Inspired by the Save Soil movement\, this experience awakens deep ecological responsibility.\n\nFood and Awareness\nChildren are introduced to the simple yet profound idea that food is not just fuel - it shapes how we feel\, think\, and live. Through conscious eating habits\, they begin to understand what it means to eat with awareness and intention. They slow down\, notice what's on their plate\, where it came from\, and how it makes them feel - discovering that eating well can also be joyful\, creative\, and deeply satisfying.\n\nNature Art - The World I See\nUsing natural materials\, leaves\, soil\, flowers\, and organic pigments\, children express their relationship with nature through art. This reflective activity helps them process\, communicate\, and celebrate what they've discovered about the living world around them.\n\nPlay & Connection\nSometimes the best thing a child can do is run\, laugh\, and play with no agenda. Structured games and open play sessions are woven throughout the retreat. No competition\, no complexity\, just children being children in the open air\, and building friendships that feel effortless and real.\n\nWHAT CHILDREN CARRY HOME?\n\nEvery child who leaves Prakriti carries something that cannot be packed into a bag - a quieter mind\, a stronger body\, a heart full of gratitude for the earth\, and friendships forged through shared wonder. More than an experience\, Prakriti gives children a way of seeing the world and their place within it.\n\nRegistrations Opening Soon!\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Timeline For Events \n \n \n \n \n Monday\n \n \n 6:00 - 12:00\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Tuesday\n \n \n 6:00 - 8:00\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Wednesday\n \n \n 9:00 - 11:00\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Thursday\n \n \n 4:00 - 6:00\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Friday\n \n \n 5:00 - 12:00\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Saturday\n \n \n 7:00 - 11:00\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Ema ThomasYoga InstructorRidiculus mus mauris vitae ultricies leo integer malesuada nunc vel.
